From an email:

What: #NoBanNoWallNoRaids!!! The immigrant community has been attacked by Trump raids this week. Join us, as we demand an end to the raids, terror, criminalization, islamophobia, xenophobia, incarceration, detention and separation of families and communities. During this week, we have seen mothers like Guadalupe from AZ being taken away from their children after living in the US for over 20 years. We have also seen the terror that ICE agents cause during checkpoints in different places in the US, the way fathers are taken away from their homes in front of their families, and just the fear of the community as a whole. I’m tired of hearing the crack in my mother’s voice when I confirm that what she has heard on the news is true – Trump is attacking us. I’m fired up! Can’t take it no more! Will you join us Saturday, Feb 11 at 4pm outside the White House?

Where: Lafayette Square, Pennsylvania Ave NW & 16th Street Northwest Washington DC 20001

When: Saturday, 11 February 2017 at 4:00 PM

Thanks to EH for sending this great two-fer “A VW bug parked about 20 feet in front of a VW van.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
