From MPD:

“On Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at approximately 10:46 am, a citizen called 9-1-1 to report a female standing outside the railing of the Roosevelt Bridge. The citizen approached the female and told her “Don’t jump! Don’t jump!” The female was then seen jumping off the bridge.

Officers assigned to the Second District responded to the bridge, observed the female in the water, and notified MPD Harbor Patrol.

Special Operations Division Harbor Patrol officers were patrolling in the waterway nearby and immediately responded, pulling the unresponsive female from the water and beginning to administer life-saving care.

The Harbor Patrol officers transported the female to the shoreline, where she was transported by DC Fire and EMS to an area hospital for treatment. Due to the immediate response of these officers, the woman’s life was saved.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
