From an email:

“My husband and I (also residents of Edgewood) have a start-up stromboli business called STUFF’t and are taking over the kitchen at The Dew Drop Saturday from 3:00 p.m to close.

A little about STUFF’t: We are a new, local start-up based out ofMess Hall in Edgewood. Our goal is to provide a modern and delicious take on the traditional Italian stromboli. Our ‘strombolis’ are made with homemade pizza dough, ‘stuff’t’ with a variety of meats, cheeses and vegetables and baked to crispy perfection. We are very excited to feature 4 varieties at the Dew Drop Inn: pepperoni & cheese; fresh & sundried tomatoes, basil and cheese; meatloaf & mashed potatoes; and chicken & waffles. ”

Check out the menu after the jump.

  • Wtf is “baked fried chicken”? Is it baked and then fried? Is it breaded and baked?
Also, it’s nearly November, please stop using “fresh” tomatoes. They taste like nothing now.

    • What is wrong with you? This comment is unnecessary, rude, and–more to the point–completely wrong. These are just some nice neighbors trying to start a food business. And at a totally reasonable price no less, in a city where Union Social charges 10$ f*cking dollars for hummus. This is fantastic. Why not try it before ragging on them for no good reason.
And on the tomatoes you are completely wrong. I have no idea where these folks get their product, but the local farmer’s markets still have plenty of delicious local product, and our backyard garden, while not producing at the August peak, still has plenty of flavorful tomatoes as well.

      • +1 to this guy. I’ve had some of these strombolis, including the chicken and waffles one, and they are effing delicious. So glad they’re finally making it to Dew Drop!

      • +1. To DF, if you don’t want to try it, then don’t. But no need to get all nasty about it!

    • Yeah, wow, how unnecessary and ignorant. I, for one, will be there Saturday, and can’t wait to try them!

  • This sounds delicious.

  • I would like to eat this right now.

  • Sounds delicious! Price is right too.

    • Turns out not really. The slices are about 2×1 inches, so you’re getting about four bites of stromboli for $5.

Sounds great and totally reasonable price, wish I could make it by.

  • This looks delicious. I think I may need one of each.

  • We are SO proud of you guys! Can’t wait to see you guys in action on Sat. Also, looks like you’ve got some kick-ass supporters over here, petty commentary aside. =)
