Shooting at 8th and Emerson St, NW; Brass Knuckles at 1st and K St, NW

From MPD:

“At approximately 9:45 PM today [Saturday], MPD units located an adult male at the intersection of 8th & Emerson Streets, NW, suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local area hospital to receive treatment for his injury. The lookout for the suspect is an adult black male wearing blue jeans and black boots. MPD units canvassed the area for a crime scene but could not locate one. Anyone with information regarding this crime is asked to call (202) 727-9099 or text 50411.”

From MPD:

“Approximately 7:00 p.m. – 100 Blk. K St., N.W. – The complainant reports while walking in the block, he accidentally bumped into a juvenile on a bicycle. At this time, the juvenile punched the complainant in the back of the head with a pair of brass knuckles. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction.”
