  • That building has a large internal courtyard with a bunch of trees in it. Zoom in on google maps earth view to see it.

  • For the amount of money these (and all other rentals like it) go for, you’d think they’d take better pics.
    It boggles my mind.

    • It’s shameful especially when it’s listed by an actual realtor. Even a cell phone camera with very simple photo editing capabilities could output better pictures than this.

    • open toilet was a nice touch.

  • 1,900 is pretty good, especially because it’s a pretty decent size and has an in-unit w/d! I was confused by the pic of the trees, but had no idea there was a courtyard. Personally? I don’t think I’d want to live right there, but that’s because Gallery Pl. is always busy and awful.

  • that seems ridiculously high.

    • Not really. For a one bedroom? I pay a lot more than that for my one bedroom (that is admittedly larger, nicer and in a better location). But it is near impossible to find a one bedroom in NW south of U Street for $1900. Especially one sitting on top of a Metro (even though you could not pay for me to live in Chinatown).

  • I know somebody who lives in that building, and apparently there’s ZERO cell reception whenever there’s something going on at the stadium (which is most of the time).

  • I lived in this building for a couple years. It is fine- nothing fancy but they were careful to check the boxes that they thought people wanted while keeping the building budget low. I faced the archway and it was loud but I got used to it- looks like this one faces the courtyard which is a plus for the noise but no view. Amenities in the building are mediocre at best. Concierge might as well not even be there. No roof deck but a common patio area on the 3rd floor overlooking 7th and H with a few tables and the garden area in the middle. I never had cell reception issues while living there as another poster mentioned. I think 1900 for a 1 BD with nothing egregiously wrong with it in any neighborhood with night life is a steal.
