  • that looks super cool.

  • My first impression: Awesome space, REALLY awesome and interesting beers, but the food is totally lacking. Pretty much all the food I’ve tried there has been a big letdown. It all sounds good on the menu, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. And the bar/dining areas are a lot smaller than I thought they’d be. The place is going to be incredibly crowded once baseball season rolls around.

  • I wish them well but I won’t be spending $14 on a hamburger or $20 for a piece of chicken.

Well, 5-guys has the burgers (for a lot less than $14!) and this place has a nice beer list, with a nice short walk in-between to settle the burger.

A few images from opening night:

We tasted through the whole non-cask draft menu, and I’ve since gone back to finish off those as well. There isn’t a single beer I wouldn’t say stands out within its class. There will definitely be some that people don’t like, but it’s likely because they have no idea what to expect of a gose or berlinerweisse, etc…

The food itself is solid. I’ve followed Kyle and Tiffany’s work for a long time, and I’m obviously biased there, but like I said above read multiple things before you discount a place.
