Early Album Cover of the Week

Due to the holidays at the end of the week please enjoy an early ridiculously awesome album cover. And thanks to a reader for sending it all the way from the London museum.

Please enjoy a little leaving on a jet plane this week:

  • Ohh Johnny D. Such a tragedy… love him.

  • John Denver, appropriate choice…he apparently wrote “leaving On a Jet Plane” (originally titled Oh Babe, I Hate To Go) while waiting on a plane in a Washington DC airport – because of the year, I imagine it was National. And that song was originally performed at the Cellar Door in Georgetown by the Chad Mitchell Trio, which Denver was a member of at that time.
