Your Afternoon Animal Fix

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share please shoot me an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. Your photos will go into the queue and will be posted in the order I receive them. If you’ve already entered your pet and would like to do so again – that’s no problem – just space the entries out a bit.

Mikey

“On March 1, Mikey passed away after twelve years in DC and 17 years of life. He spent his first five years in Florida with two kooky and loving family members, who passed him on to his next kooky and loving person. Together they shared homes in Mt. Pleasant, Cleveland Park, and Columbia Heights. He is missed terribly.”

“I’m writing to express my appreciation for the security staff at Old Soldier’s Home, MPD, and the Washington Humane Society. Today, our sweet, nervous rescue beagle got away and made her way over to Old Soldier’s Home. She is very skittish and really only responds to my husband and I. Thankfully, the wonderful security staff along with MPD and the Washington Humane Society spotted her and kept an eye on her until I could get there to bring her home. We are so grateful.

Attached is a photo of Cleo sleeping soundly – she certainly needs it after her big adventure today!”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
