A new Point Chaud crepes spot has opened up on 11th Street, NW between the Capitol City Brewery and the Haad Thai restaurant across from the rapidly progressing City Center. You can see their menu here. They also have locations at 1012 14th St. NW and 1736 14th St. NW.

Their crepes are tasty, but I still have no idea how this place turns a profit in the high-rent stretch of 14th Street.

This is in my office building–I’m a little ashamed to admit that I’ve been there several times since they’ve opened. They also have gelato and illy espresso!

Point Chaud does a damn good crepe, and they’re pretty authentic too. My only regret is eating a complete and a nutella strawberry crepe back to back and then going dancing. Should have just embraced the food coma…
