That is one ugly building… but with utilities included, a washer/dryer, and a roof deck in that neighborhood, it seems like a pretty solid deal to me.
Some of that new construction on 14th Street has 1 bedrooms at 3000+. I’ll save $1200 a month and live in a building that’s not as pretty from the street (I spend more time in my home than I spend looking at it from the street corner anyways…)
A good thing about living in an ugly building is that when you look out your window, you won’t see the ugly building
It’s ugly on the inside too! Did you see that awful chandelier and the tile floored living room? YIKES.
There’s something weird about that building. I looked at a couple units including a fantastically priced 2br and there was something “off” about each one. The 2br felt like a crime scene.
Great location close to Whole Foods, short walk to work for those in Franklin Square or Metro Center. Boring unit and too bad there’s no fireplace or balcony, but there’s the roof deck…this is a pretty good deal. And the 64 bus stop to Petworth and the lively 11th street strip is just two blocks away.
I lived in this building for the past 3 years. I only moved out because I got married and moved in with the husband. Its a great & quiet building – definitely not the prettiest on the outside, but there is nothing wrong with the building and the location can’t be beat!
