The staff at the old Toldeo Lounge got so tired of hearing the jukebox play Country Roads, so they replaced the CD with a burned disc of John Denver’s Greatest Hits where the running order was identical EXCEPT for that song. In its place: We’re Not Gonna Take It, by Twisted Sister.
Of course, it was still labelled on the jukebox as Country Roads, so whenever We’re Not Gonna Take It came on, you could look around the bar and see some dude absolutely baffled why his jukebox set had been marred by Dee Snider. Always hilarious to me.

love me some country roads!
Toots & The Maytals do a great reggae cover of it (and they sing “West Jamaica” instead of “West Virginia.”)
