To be sure, 3134 Ellicott St NW is not typical Good Deal or Not (GDoN) subject material. Tax records report over 13,000 square feet of living space on more than an acre of land. It has an unfinished basement and isn’t anywhere near Metro, but I’m guessing there is plenty of offstreet parking.

A closer look reminds us of the historic grandeur of Washington, DC, and, honestly, I just think the before and after pics are quite intriguing. As mentioned above, the property had been on the market as early as 2008. Check out the interior photos from before 21 different designers got their hands on it.
