So glad you posted this picture…I have a question.
I’ve seen a few banana trees around here that are even bigger than this, and I have always wondered:
How do they survive the winter in DC? Are they cut back every year, and what you see now is just new growth for this year? Are they covered up in the winter and this is not new growth, but rather the same tree?
I need to know!
