That looks like a medical emergency accident. Hope everyone is OK.
Sir Douchy
That’s strange, where’s the parking ticket on the white car?

It was only a matter on time on that street…

Agreed. I live at the corner of 20th and Florida, and see people driving like idiots on that stretch of 20th almost every day. Speeding, running the stop signs, going the wrong way down an obviously one-way street….
I live on Kalorama right by the Harris Teeter, and I see cars reversing REALLY FAST up the (one way) street all the time. I really am surprised I’ve never seen it result in an accident.

Yeah, cars randomly stop on that street too. I used to live on that street and I don’t miss the horns beeping at them.
This is right next to my work. The gray car has a Virginia license plate and the white car has a Maryland license plate. The Virginia car was trying to back into a parking spot when the Maryland car came barreling up the street and hit him.

People speed ridiculously fast on that street. I don’t know how they get going that fast within less than a block, or why they bother when there’s a stop sign on pretty much every block. The other morning, a garbage truck barreled past me going at least 45 mph, only to slam on the brakes when it got to the stop sign. What’s the point?
Maybe the point is that many reckless drivers in the city come from the suburbs where they don’t need to care about no stinking pedestrians or stop signs. Hopefully somebody will learn a lesson from this cluster.
I hope Pat Collins got there in time to interview the victims and witnesses.

Shaw Guy
After observing the wild Ford Contour blissfully unaware of it’s surroundings as it hunted the urban forest for ever-elusive VW Beetles to eat, the Honda Civic Sedan decided to quickly pounce and devour its prey before the Contour could see him coming and escape. Here, we see the Civic gleefully flapping it’s door-wings with delight as he enjoys the spoils of his hunt…

Okay, I was wrong, you would have been the photo caption contest winner.
I’m going to guess those are Virginia or Maryland tags on the white car….
Those are most definitely Maryland plates, not VA tags.
Looks like VA tags on the lower vehicle though.
New York
The gray/silver car that has been mounted has a NY plate? I may be wrong about VA, but it sure doesn’t look to me like NY.
I had to stare at my monitor until cross eyed… and I think you’re right about VA. Not enough blue for this

My personal favorite is when they drive backwards down the street. Still going the wrong way people!
I love that! Especially when they’re doing it for what they think is a parking space, but is actually a driveway or a no-parking zone.

Just one question: HOW?
Exactly!!
Texting?
Even worse…..drunk texting!
Even Even worse…drunk Sexting!
I saw the whole thing. I was standing over there by the pole beans. I hollered “Don’t look Ethel!!!” But it was too late……
Oh yes they call him The Streak!
I loved that song as a kid – thanks for the flashback – no pun intended!
It’s Honda mating season out there. be careful and be protected!
But in this case, the Ford seems to have spurned the Honda’s amorous advances.
Had this been the caption photo contest you would have certainly won.

And the MD car didn’t see it backing into a parking space because…. it was texting.

Pounce? I call that mating.
Honda Badger don’t care
“This speed bump is huge!”
“You’ve heard of double parking – right?”
“I piss on you, American car!”
