Your Afternoon Animal Fix + Found Dog

If you have any fun or interesting animal/pet photos please shoot me an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say what neighborhood you’re from or upload to the PoPville flickr pool with your pets name and neighborhood. I can’t guarantee I’ll get them all posted but I’ll do my best.

“I adopted Maddy (Beagle) a month ago. The rescue said she was shy and needed a companion dog who could be her special friend and make her feel secure. My dog Harry (Field Spaniel) seemed to fit the bill. She certainly looks like she feels secure now! We live in Shepherd Park.”

Found Dog after the jump.

“Dear PoPville,

While out walking Cloe (my dog) today I found this stray dog around French and 10th St NW., who nearly got run over. She had no collar, leash or tags. The woman who had almost hit her helped me get the dog back to my house a block away. She is currently in my backyard. She is a friendly dog and doesn’t really bark. She seemed hungry since she went through two cups of food. Would you mind posting this to see if anyone has lost a dog or may know who the owner might be? I will require some sort of proof (pictures/vet documentation) that this is their pet before releasing her. They can call me at 202-486-3363.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
