Random Reader Rant and/or Revel

You can talk about whatever is on your mind – quality of life issues, a beautiful tree you spotted, scuttlebutt, or any random questions/thoughts you may have. I’ll open this thread every morning at 10am.

On this erev Yom Kippur (eve of day of atonement) I’d like to take the opportunity to apologize. I genuinely try to do the best I can to make this a place where honest and open conversation can take place. Sometimes we talk about simple things and sometimes we talk about serious and controversial topics. As moderator there are times I make mistakes. On occasion comments get deleted that shouldn’t be and sometimes comments get through that cross the line. That line is very hard for me to identify at times. Sometimes it is simply logistically not possible to read everything. But I want you to know that I do recognize that at times people get offended. And I want you to know that I recognize that I make mistakes. For that I am truly sorry.

I apologize to any who have been offended this year and I promise to try harder in the coming year to make this a respectful place where we can discuss tough topics. Despite the difficult times we will surely face and the controversial topics we will surely debate, I also promise to not forget to appreciate the beautiful life.

That means Well-Paid Maids is now offering weekend cleanings! The goal is to make your life as easy as possible. If your weekday schedule is too hectic or you work from home, this is for you!
