Crime Cameras in Unexpected Places
I have to admit I was surprised to see a crime camera on Wisconsin Ave, NW in Georgetown. Previously I’ve only seen these on Georgia Ave, North Capitol St, and H St, NE.

I’ve seen crime cameras in the worst projects in DC too, mostly in Wards 7 and 8. Theres one on Longfellow and 7th too.

there’s one on 14th in columbia heights across from the old park that used to have the cool benches with all the sayings on them.
i think it is on the post on the streets between the hardware store and where tacqueria is.
There’s one at Champlain & Kalorama in Adams Morgan – I’m pretty sure it’s new, since I walk through there all the time and only just noticed it.

Politically they have to keep about the same number of cameras in each ward [except for ward 3, because well, it's ward 3 and people would probably complain about them lowering property values.]
And Georgetown isn’t exactly crime free, especially for the little crap crimes that these are designed to pick up.
Note one of the others in Ward 3 is right near Wilson HS.
Is it anywhere near the iPhone store? That would explain the location.
