Legg Mason Tennis Tournament VIP Ticket Winners

It was a lot of fun going through everyone’s past and present favorite tennis players.

Congratulations to miscue 9:57 July 23rd:

“Growing up: Björn Borg–my first racquet was a warped, wooden Borg hand-me-down from my Uncle Bob, who also had long hair and wore a sweatband playing.

Now: I still root for Serena Williams, based on watching her win the 1999 US Open. She’s been at the top for years now, but her emotional response to her first win there got me all choked up and it’s carried over the past decade.”

and Behrad 9:44am July 23rd:

“Growing up: Pistol Pete Sampras!
Now: The Swiss Master, Roger Federer!”

Each winner will receive a pair of VIP section tickets for the finals on August 8th!

Please email me directly at princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com so I can get your full names for Will Call.

If you didn’t win you can still buy tickets here.

  • Baghdatis loooks like he is swallowing a sword

  • Why does the National Park Service allow the yuppie-fuckie spectators to park their oil-dripping SUV tanks on the Carter Baron grass soccer fields during this event?

  • I’m supposing they do this in an attempt to provide more on-site parking so they don’t clog up the residential streets…which would include mine. It’s my first summer in the house and I don’t know what to expect in terms of all my parking being gobbled up by SUVs (who probably don’t know how to parallel park).
During the Carribbean carnival, our alley was stuffed with cars, blocking garages etc.
Not that I endorse parking on the grass-but I don’t really have a better solution for them.
