While I generally hate roman numerals this one looks pretty sweet. Though I still have no idea what number it is…

While this isn’t my all-time favorite, it has definitely cracked the top 5.

These are both from the 1400 block of T St, NW. The one below is from a house getting completely renovated, hopefully this part stays.

So you always post awesome transom photos and it makes me totally jealous. The house we live in had some harsh tenants before we moved in and somehow they destroyed the transom over the front door, as well as several over the bedroom doors. Any suggestions on where to get some new ones made?”

I live on a block where some of our houses have vinyl siding. It turns out there are some transoms hidden underneath the back of the house. My neighbor’s father discovered this one and made these windows himself. Nice.


What style would this be called?

Would this style also be considered art deco?

My all time favorite house numbers from Adams Morgan.

I’ve noted some roman numeral house numbers in the past but I think this is the best looking one I’ve seen. Though I still don’t know what number it is…
