From American University’s campus.

From Ledroit Park. Looks like the same style as the one we recently looked at in the Ellington Plaza.

From the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s blog Eye Level:
If you visit our museum within the next year, you will be greeted on the left side of the 8th and G-street entrance by Tableau Noir (The Blackboard), done in 1970. It is on loan to the Smithsonian American Art Museum from a private collection.
To see more photographs from Saturday morning, visit the Lunder Conservation Center’s Facebook page or the Museum’s Flickr set.

It seems like every time I stop to admire this sculpture I notice another awesome detail:

In Nov. we looked at some house porn on Unicorn Lane and a reader said there were a couple of unicorn sculptures at the entrance. I finally got to see them in person:

Also from New Hampshire Ave near the Petworth metro.

I always enjoy checking out the sculptures from Embassy Row. I’ll show a few of my favorites this week. First up – Crown Princess Martha of Norway.

We’ve seen a few chicken/rooster sculptures before but this is the first welcome chicken. Awesome. From Kalorama.

Also from 16th Street Heights. Is it Indian?

I love the turret on this one off P Street in Dupont.

Also to home to an interesting sculpture out front too:
