I think I’ve spotted some of these pieces when walking near 15th or 16th St, NW but I was super psyched that they were on last weekend’s mid city artists tour. This studio is an alley off 15th Street. These phenomenal pieces are by Robert T. Cole. Absolutely awesome. The motorcycle was my favorite.
Anyone else check out the tour?
For as long as I can remember these camels have been missing their ears. I was psyched to see that their dignity has been restored. The ears stick out a bit now but one battle at a time…

I found it humorous that one of Chile’s founders was named Bernardo O’Higgins. Blame my public school education…

Not officially from the 1st on First Bloomingdale artwalk but still from First St, NW in Bloomingdale.
I mentioned yesterday that Bloomingdale hosted their First on 1st Artwalk this past Sat. Anyone else check it out? I won’t be able to get to all of them but I’ll try and highlight of pieces a couple each day. Above is some yarn art by m. gert barkovic and below is from my friend Sean Hennessey.
Every year I like to pay homage to what I think is easily the greatest mustache in the city. Anyone recognize where it’s located?
