“not sure if this has already been circulated but if you donate blood with the Red Cross, they’ll do a free COVID antibody test! Just went yesterday to their location by the White House and only took about an hour!”

For a limited time, the American Red Cross will test all blood, platelet and plasma donations for COVID-19 antibodies as an additional health service to our donors. “Dear PoPville,

I am writing with some concern about the test result timeline for COVID testing conducted at public sites in DC. I received a test last Wednesday and was told both verbally and on a printed handout that results would be ready in 3-5 business days (today at the latest). I called the number to receive my results and was told that the timeline is now 5-7 business days. (more…)
