Lebanese Taverna is located at 2641 Connecticut Ave. in Woodley Park. I’ve never heard so many contradictory things about a restaurant in DC before. Some folks tell me they love it and some folks tell me it is overrated. So let’s settle it once and for all – thumbs up or down? But if there are fans out there, do you recommend a particular dish? You can see their menu here.

After seeing this spot on Calvert Street in Woodley Park back in September, I asked where was the best spot to get crepes in the city? Alas, I guess folks weren’t ordering enough crepes here. Or this spot at 2311 Calvert Street might be cursed as it seems to change businesses every 6 months to a year since the video store went out of business. Maybe it should become a wine bar…

Anyone know the history behind this classic mural? Is this the best mural in DC?

We’ve talked a number of times about Tryst but not too often about her sister restaurant Open City located at 2331 Calvert St NW. So is it as crowded as Tryst? How’s the food?
