“Unique home perched on a hillside facing Rock Creek Park, this spectacular residence was designed & built by a renowned Washington architect in 1988 & the interior design was completed in 2002 by a nationally recognized interior designer. Sculpted geometric forms, the finest materials, custom designed built-ins, & superior craftmanship form a true work of art.”

Holy cow, I was so psyched to stumble past this one. At first I thought I just found a sweet HoTD and was overjoyed to see it for sale. I love getting to see the inside of places like this. Amazing. I think this is my favorite one yet. And it has a new price – $2,395,000! So what do you think of this house? I think it raises the bar for my House Porn picks…

Notice the sign in the front window. Long and Foster lost their lease in Woodley Park at the corner of Connecticut and Calvert. That is a prime location, hopefully something good goes in there. L&F fans don’t be too worried, they have a building across the street.

I’m a huge fan of Woodley Place. So I’m always interested to see what these rowhomes are going for. This home is going for $959,000. What do you think of the home itself?

This is the first street I ever lived on when I moved to DC in 1997. Sadly, my apartment looked nothing at all like this one. So what do you think of the renovations? It can be yours for $1,250,000.

Petits Plats is located at 2653 Connecticut Ave, NW in Woodley Park. I’ve heard that the restaurant is quite good. You can see the full menu here. But I was also intrigued by the “Pizze” sign. Has anyone tried the to go Pizze? You can see the to go menu here. Any fans out there?

With house porn posts I’m usually more interested to hear what you think about the house itself rather than the price but for this one I’m actually curious about the price. Even with the 200k reduction it is on the market for $2,299,500. And I gotta say, I wasn’t blown away by the photos. Does this price seem insanely high? I realize it is a big house in a prime location but my jaw didn’t drop at the photos. What do you guys think?

Lebanese Taverna is located at 2641 Connecticut Ave. in Woodley Park. I’ve never heard so many contradictory things about a restaurant in DC before. Some folks tell me they love it and some folks tell me it is overrated. So let’s settle it once and for all – thumbs up or down? But if there are fans out there, do you recommend a particular dish? You can see their menu here.
