As I’ve said before I love finding buildings that we’ve judged on the outside so that we can take a peak inside. What do you think of this unit? Does $599,000 sound reasonable?

Judging New Row Houses/Buildings

These homes are all located next to each other on the 500 block of U Street, NW. I’m not sure when they were built/renovated but they all seem in really good condition. I’m wondering which style you like best and, if possible, if you think they fit well with each other?

Gage-Eckington School Renderings in LeDroit Park

Well, this is absolutely super cool. When I first saw the garden going into the former Gage Eckington School (2025 3rd Street, NW) I had no idea how extensive the plans were for that spot. Let me just say that the garden is looking great:

Super Cool Mural Completed in Ledroit Park

I posted the unfinished mural back in November. At that time in the comments there was some concern that the neighborhood demographics weren’t properly represented. But looking at the completed mural it is most definitely diverse:

There is even a decent likeness of me, if I was a little taller, dressed better, had a better camera and a Nordic girlfriend that is…
