I never get tired of these great big detached homes with the awesome porches from Cleveland Park.  This one even looks like it has a wrap around balcony in addition to the porch.


A great house all around (from Capitol Hill) but I’m particularly digging the his and hers best spot for a morning cup of coffee or mojito up top:


This has to be one of the best row houses in Shaw. It’s got all the details. Transom:

This row house is from Woodley Park. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a second floor bay window so centered before. I dig it.


Another great Brookland specimen. This one also has some wild lawn decorations (that we once looked at a couple years ago).


I’ve always loved this Logan Circle house because of the really cool copper but Sun. I was able to chat briefly with a relative of a resident and learned that this home was the home of the first African American female dentist in DC. Very cool!

And this has got to be the best door bell in the city:


I’m sure some Mt. Pleasant aficionados knew that my week of Mt. Pleasant houses of the day would culminate with this one. For real this time – my all time favorite.
