I like how this one from Capitol Hill is set back a bit from the curb. It’s also got a cool zen garden in the front:

A standard row house from near H St, NE but I’m digging the little outdoor space on the 2nd floor. And it reminds me that the addition of just a couple of hanging plants can look so good.

There are so many amazing houses in Ledroit Park but I was really struck by the number of window on the 2nd floor of this one. I don’t think I’ve ever so many narrow windows. Usually you’ll see 2 or 3 bigger windows. I kinda dig how it looks.

Looks like it’s an embassy now but still one of my favorites from 16th St, NW.

Not super extravagant from the outside but the porch looked like a spot where I could log many hours:

Nice find by Mr. T in DC. He writes: “Rowhouses on New Hampshire Ave NW, at Washington Circle, in Foggy Bottom, DC.”

I always checking out the design up top on this one from Ledroit Park:

And it looks like next store they have a good contender for best spot for a morning cup of coffee or mojito:

I kinda dig the distressed painted brick and it doesn’t hurt that they have a great garden. And it also doesn’t hurt that this is one of the nicest blocks in the city (East Capitol).

The gas porch lights have really begun to grow on me as well:
