Here’s a beautiful public strip garden. I love when folks hook these public spaces up like this. It’s also from the Capitol Hill area.

I call these border gardens. This great one is from Petworth.

This is one of the first mostly cactus gardens I’ve seen. In a different garden I saw a cactus blooming which looked pretty sweet as well:

Not every garden of the day has to be jaw dropping. Sometimes I’m equally impressed with those that make this extra effort. And of course I continue to be a huge fan of stump planting:


This one is from an apartment building on Wisconsin Ave, NW. I really liked the use of the grasses. And nearby I spotted this:


This is one of my all time favorites from Columbia Heights. If I was a painter I’d paint this, for sure.

This beauty is from Cleveland Park. It’s actually an amazing garden all around this is just one side.
