It’s awesome that some gardens are still flourishing in Autumn.


I was really digging these flowers from Columbia Heights. Anyone know what type these are?


A reader sends this one in from Bloomingdale and writes:
“I like this one because it turned around a boring front yard, and it combines very well the colors of the house with the colors of the plants and tree. I believe the tree is a japanese maple and it should get bright red in the coming weeks.”

Sometimes less is more.
