Not sure if the photo does it justice but the leaded glass in this door looked phenomenal. And nearby I really liked the style of this transom. Both are from Mt. Pleasant.

I’ve never gotten used to these examples with the doorknob in the middle of the door but def. thought this was a noteworthy one with the stained glass.

One of Mt. Pleasant’s finest. The windows remind me a bit of this door we looked at a couple of weeks ago from Forest hills.

Here’s a great garden door also from up in North Country.

This Chevy Chase house was pretty killer but I couldn’t get it all in one frame. The above shot gives you a bit of the flavor. And actually my favorite part was the door:

The detail is insane:

For art deco lovers, this beauty is also from Forrest Hills.

The stained glass on this Capitol Hill one is stellar:

It’s been a while since I’ve posted some doors of the day but I found some seriously worthy ones this weekend on Capitol Hill.

I can’t believe I’ve never noticed this door on the (red) church off Thomas Circle (behind the statue) towards 14th St, NW.

I think I’ve shown this gate once before but the way the light was hitting the stained glass this weekend was awesome.
