Taylor Gourmet’s H Street location (1116 H St. NE) will be extending their late night hours starting today through fall. This store will now be serving their sandwiches until 230 am every Thursday in addition to the normal late night hours Friday and Saturday until 330 am.”
What are some other good late night dining options around town besides pizza?
Cedar is located at 822 E Street, NW. I’ve been hearing a lot of positive buzz about this place lately. You can see their menus here. Any fans? Any must order items?
Holy cow, I can’t believe people were lining up at Pasta Mia, 1790 Columbia Rd NW, a full hour before they open up. There were a lot of fans when we spoke about the restaurant a couple of years ago. But is it worth waiting on line for an hour?
I saw this sign which really made me laugh:
The New York Times writes:
“In the coming months, Go Burger will open in New York at 1450 Second Avenue (75th Street), in Washington at 1317 Connecticut Avenue (near Dupont Circle), and in Los Angeles at 6290 Sunset Boulevard (Vine Street).”
This’ll be a popular burger street as Rogue States is located right across the street.
The Oceanaire (careful link plays piano music) is located at 1201 F Street, NW. They describe themselves:

Is this the best seafood restaurant in DC?
This is the old Pizzeria Paradiso location. Looks like Food Corner Kabob has three current locations in Virginia. They have just applied for an alcohol license and you can see their current menus here. I’ve been wondering what was coming to this prime location.
Galileo III will be located at 600 14th St. NW (in the old Butterfield 9 space). Crumbs Bake shop will be located on 11 Street, NW just north of F St. right next to the Pret a Manger which is also coming soon.

Interesting. Let’s check with @DCRA and see if they can confirm, deny or add some details. From the photo above it doesn’t look too treacherous. We judged Veranda (11th and P St, NW) here.

I was amazed how much progress has been made since we last looked at the end of April. The bar (above) is looking incredible. The floor have also been redone:
