1001 Monroe St, NW
A little over a month ago we noted that the Church at 10th and Monroe St, NW in Columbia Heights was for sale for $2,000,000. It’s already under contract. Updates when plans become known for the space.
Ed. Note: A couple weeks ago we also learned that nearby the Mt. Rona Baptist Church was for sale.

Interesting tweet from the always interesting @WashBizNeibs:
“Buried in DC revenue projections is this frightening forecast: The average home will sell for $965,300 by 2018. Buy now.”
Yikes.

1312 19th Street, NW
Thanks to jeezpf for sending:
“I work near this and just recently noticed that it has been closed. On further inspection, I noticed the seizure sign on the door. Just wanted to give you a heads up.”

A prime location, it will be interesting to see if stays an Inn or becomes something else. Stay tuned.

Looking north towards Dupont Circle

3431 13th Street, NW at Monroe
Thanks to a reader for sending word about the for sale sign out front of the Mt. Rona Baptist Church at the corner of 13th and Monroe St, NW. It’s not listed in MRIS yet but I imagine it’ll be over a million or two. The Church was a bit damaged in the great quake of ’11.

Thanks to a reader for sending this, uh, interesting listing. This house in the Palisades is actually quite nice (the 5 bed/5 bath is yours for $1,382,000). But the reader points out the photo tour takes an interesting turn starting at 11. You can see the full tour here.
