I’ve always been a big fan of this building. It’s the building that has two parts, one of which we’ve judged in the past. I also think this is a pretty solid location. Do you think this 1 bed/1 bath with parking sounds reasonable for $384,000?

Ed. Note: From time to time I get reader or realtor requests but I only post if I genuinely find them interesting.

I’m interested to hear what you think of the location for this home. It’s a very interesting spot on Sherman Ave. It feels pretty isolated but is actually quite close to Florida Ave. and the U Street spots. I wonder what you think about the walk from the metro? And of course what do you think of the home and renovations? Does $449,500 sound reasonable?

I remember looking at these homes when they first were renovated. I think this whole section of 8th Street, NW was renovated by the same group. As I’m dealing with some house issues right now (more on that later) I’m starting to get envious of these renovated ones. This unit is going for $413,900. Unit 1 is going for $388,000. Do you think unit 2 is worth around $25k more than #1? Do you like the renovation?

I don’t know what it is about odd number streets but I’m a huge fan of 15th, 13th and 11th. Do you dig the kitchen? This house can be yours for $1,150,000. I’ll just add there is also a house very close by at 1834 15th St..

It’s a bit smaller but has some incredible photos. 1834 15th is going for $949,000. Which do you think is a better deal?

I thought this was an interesting property because it is one of those half houses we’ve looked at before, plus it is located on a really quiet street near H Street, NE. So what do you think of the house itself? Does $449,000 sound reasonable?

Here’s another house that I’ve always wondered about. Wow, it’s as amazing as I had imagined. And an extra bonus is that it’s located next to the colorful “tricycle house”.

What do you think of the house? It can be yours for $1,179,000.

And for those that are interested in a more modest abode there is a pretty sweet 2 bed 1 bath condo not too far away at 1708 Newton St., NW. More info and photos on that one here. It’s going for $379,500.
