“Dear PoPville,

I was out on a long run this past Sunday afternoon (3/26), crossing the Arlington Memorial Bridge, when a cute runner caught my eye. We glanced at each other as I stopped to take a photo of the view. Then we both crossed over onto the VA side of the Mount Vernon Trail and proceeded to pass each other several times as I kept stopping to take blossom photos. At one point you attempted to say hi, but I awkwardly sped past you. We both crossed back into DC on the 14th street bridge, then went in different directions. If you’re reading this and interested, I would love to go on a run sometime! I was the girl in the black shorts and blue tank. I will know it’s you if you can tell me what language you said hello in. :)”

As we were walking by the patio to the entrance, I made eye contact that seemed to linger a couple beats longer than the norm with a guy who was already drinking in the patio area with some others. He was wearing a suit and looked kinda like the Crown Prince of Jordan. (more…)

“Dear PoPville,

I was in Trader Joe’s on 14th on Saturday afternoon (3/25) and I was embarrassingly struggling to reach a bag of chips towards the back of the top shelf. After realizing that it was a failed cause I almost gave up on my favorite TJ potato chips but a cute guy stepped up and grabbed them for me. (more…)

“Dear PoPville,

Tuesday, 3/21, I was on the green/yellow line going up to U st and was standing near a very cute guy. When we both got off the metro and went different ways, we both looked back at each other probably 3-4 times until we were at opposite ends of the platform. (more…)
