Truthfully, I liked the ones earlier in the week better but this one was kinda cool in learning the history and seeing the building behind it.

At least I think this is the Broadmoor on Connecticut Ave in Cleveland Park:

These were outside one of the embassy residences. I think Malaysia…but I am sure that they are phenomenal.
Which do you like better – these or the one from yesterday?

I’ve always been a huge fan of the sculptures in Mt. Pleasant but I found a few really cool ones in the Forest Hills neighborhood as well. More coming later this week.

Emmanuel Ndenguebi-Essimi is a talented young photographer. He shot this with a Mamiya C330, a medium format twin lens reflex from the 1970’s, using expired color film. Emmanuel also processed the film himself.

I thought tigers would be a bit out of vogue given, well, you know…

This sweet piece was found on 14th Street near P (I think on the security door of a pawn shop).

These guys are awesome. See close ups after the jump. (more…)

We’ve seen some sweet examples here and here. I imagine will see more in the future. I thought the one pictured above was amazing. Bourbon is located on 18th Street in Adams Morgan.

“Dear PoP,
Here is a picture of the new Eleanor Holmes Norton electrical box graffiti art on 14th and Florida NW. There is another one at 14th and P, too. How awesome is this?
Also attached is a Barack Obama/Joker graffiti that is about a year old, on the redline near Rhode Island Ave. It’s done by a sick artist named JU who’s paintings extend from Union Station to Glenmont. I haven’t been out that way in about 6 months, but I’m sure the graffiti art is still flourishing along the red line route. Just figured your readers would appreciate!”
