A skylight on your porch? That is freaking awesome. Well done, well done.

And if you ever get in trouble you can rip it of the wall and club your attacker with it.

A commenter a while back didn’t like the cool slate steps I had featured. So what do you think of the brick option? I have to be honest, sincerely, I freaking love the astroturf covering. I’m not sure it goes with brick, but think if you had astroturf down the whole steps, you could have a sweet practice putting green.

This walkway simply rocks. So let me ask, what types of houses work with walkways like this? I’m guessing my sweet vinyl siding may not work so well with a walkway like this, unfortunately…

These are the funniest objects I’ve seen framing a doorway. Knights! For real, knights. Ah, that is too good. I’d love to have heard that conversation when this decision was made, I imagine it went something like this:

Husband: Honey, you have to trust me on this one.

Wife: You’re kidding right?

Husband: You’re not listening to me. We’ll have two knights and they’ll be in full body armor…

Wife: You’re kidding right?

Husband: And they’ll have swords….

Wife: I thought I knew you!

In fact, I can’t even imagine or make up any more dialog for how that conversation was resolved. So I’ll just stop here.

Look, I can stop putting up wind chimes anytime I want. I just happen to like the soothing sound of chimes crashing into one another on windy evening. So is that so wrong? Alright, I don’t like to judge but isn’t it well known that one is generally not supposed to display more than three wind chimes at a time? Isn’t that in a statute somewhere?
