While the house itself is pretty fresh what caught my eye was up top. Dang, I love weather vanes….

I once featured a condo in this building for a GDON? but realized it’s actually a pretty unusual building. It’s located 1307 Clifton Street, NW. I haven’t seen too many new buildings that look like this. Part of me likes it and part of me thinks it’s a bit too jammed into the street. What do you think – thumbs up or down?

I once showed this potential beauty from Mt. Pleasant back, back, back in the day. If memory serves I think it was for sale. I was a bit sad to see it was still in a state of disrepair. Anyone know the scoop on this house located at the corner of 18th and Monroe?

This home is located in Mt. Pleasant very close to Columbia Heights. I forget the exact street (maybe Brown? A little help?). I don’t understand what they’re doing with the vinyl combined with that brown material. Wouldn’t it be better to have all one or the other? Anyone like this combination? Is it possible that the brown material will eventually cover up all of the vinyl?

This cool stand alone in Adams Morgan has a bit of a New Orleans flavor to me.

This is an example of a nice mini rowhouse but I especially liked the fact that it has a sweet wooded side yard.

I thought that bay window was pretty unusual. But I totally dig it.

I’ve always thought this was a cool house on Florida Ave. west of 14th Street. The street is generally connected rowhomes but at this curve in the street there is one stand alone house.

Surely, I’ve shown this house before. But dang some of them are worthy of multiple posts. For sure this is one of them.
