I can’t remember if we’ve done this building before but it’s worth another look. It’s so unusual to see a building like this in the Dupont area on P Street between 16th and 17th. It’s pretty sweet they all have garages. What do you think of the style – thumbs up or down?

I actually don’t like this door at all but man that is some cool stone border.

This one is really interesting for lots of reasons. It’s curious that there’s brownstone on the first floor, I dig the sweet bay window, and there’s some cool borders up top.

A cool door for sure but I also dig the stained glass up top. Normally, I don’t think “modern” stained glass looks as good as the old school but this one’s pretty sweet.

This is one of the biggest bungalow style houses I’ve ever seen in DC.

I’ve always thought this house was a bit interesting as it sits back from the curb behind a low brick wall. There is a plaque that says it is the O House. Oddly, it’s located on P Street…

An incredible corner rowhome but it’s really all about the third floor wrap around balcony:

Thanks to a reader for the tip on this new pop up located on the 1300 block of Oak Street, NW. It’s hard to tell in it’s current state but do you think this’ll be a good one? I kinda like the fact that’s it’s going to have a double bay window. You?

After the jump check out a pop up that I’ve shown a number of times that has finally been completed. It’s the one that has a super sweet glass fire escape. (more…)
