The right side of this house is stamp. Ed. Note: I learned some new slang today. Stamp. As in stamp of approval. As in dope sky…

This is the building that amazed me because the closets had windows. It is located at 1407 W Street, NW. I know it’s not the greatest picture but I think the building looks pretty good. You?

Hmm, neighborhood crests. I think we may have a new contest brewing…

This Cleveland Park house is gigantic and a stone’s throw from Connecticut Ave. It also has one of the dopest porches in town.

These rowhomes are near the O Street Mansion that hipchick wrote about last week. I was struck by the contrast. To me, it seems the house on the right is 100 times cooler. I just can’t understand how the one on the left was designed. Any insights? Do you like the contrast?

Ok, it might be apartments but I’m a sucker for old school fire escapes.

I think I know what folks are gonna say about this one… But what has me especially flummoxed is that this building is on the 2100 or 2200 block of O Street which is posh as hell. Here’s a contrast of what it looks like against a dope rowhouse:

But I gotta ask – any fans out there?

Even with the garbage cans you can tell how sweet this one is.

This house has some phenomenal details. Some close ups after the jump. (more…)
