This one is located in North Cleveland Park. I dig the wood slats on the front. Another bonus about this house was that, to my surprise, it also had a pumpkin patch in the front yard. Last week I was stunned to find a pumpkin patch in Park View but I guess they’re all over town if you look hard enough.

This is a possible re-PoP but this is my absolute favorite bungalow in the city. It’s on Illinois north of Grant Circle. These cedar shingles are the bomb! One day I will have them too…

For some reason I love these houses that are a bit set back in a row.

This building is located at 1125 11th Street, NW. I dig the balconies. What do you think – thumbs up or down?

Whenever I need to score some good looking houses I just head to Bloomingdale.

At first glance this may not look like a very inspiring selection. But two things warrant HoTD honors – first this home on Kenyon between 13th and 11th has been a shell for ages and I’m glad it’s finally getting fixed up. But secondly and perhaps more importantly there is bunting. You got to respect bunting during a renovation.

I really like these mini row houses. I think the red jumped out on me with this one. But I dig it.
