“At the beginning of the pandemic, you got a photo into the Fix of our yellow lab puppy, Irma, that we were starting to raise for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. Whew, time flies! Irma is about to have her 2nd birthday and she passed her entrance exam (with flying colors) today to become a guide dog. We’re so grateful to local businesses (Little Food Studio, Lulabelle’s, and Each Peach Market, in particular) for always welcoming her in for training walks. It took a village, but now she’s on her way to becoming a guide!”
