“Parker, our 13-year-old Chow Chow/Lab mix in Columbia Heights, passed away on Sunday from old age. As a puppy, he lived through surgery to remove a sewing needle lodged in his heart, and as a senior he survived cancer and the amputation of his back leg. He was full of love, patience, and strength, and touched the lives of everyone who loved him. He will be greatly missed.”
