If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. Your photos will go into the queue (usually 6-8 weeks wait) and will be posted in the order I receive them. If you’ve already entered your pet and would like to do so again – that’s no problem – just space the entries out a bit. Please try to send horizontal photos 640×480 (medium size on your iphone) if possible. If you’re not using an iphone any size is fine.

Bacchus

“Bacchus of AdMo is ready to party!”

adopt_bunny

“She’s been at the Washington Humane Society for over 275 days waiting for her forever home. She’s a super sweet bunny, but I don’t think people who want to get a bunny think to check out the Humane Society. Freya could go to home with cats or dogs, but she’s a bit of a bunny-snob and prefers to be the only one of her species in the house. We’d really love to see her adopted by Easter – no bunnies should spend such a bunny-sacred holiday in the shelter!

Potential adopters can meet Freya at the Humane Society’s Georgia Ave adoption center, any day but Wednesday from 12-7!”

Churchill

“RIP, Churchill, the Diplocat lately of Managua, with prior postings in Panama and Mexico and DC residencies in Eckington and Logan Circle. Although he lived in Nicaragua, he paid his taxes in DC. His greatest diplomatic accomplishment? Turning multiple dog people into cat lovers through a strategic charm offensive.”
