“Diesel will truly be a special companion and he wants all of the love humans can offer. Diesel has been described as “melty” because he will just snuggle up with you and “melt” in your lap. Diesel is making progress learning how to greet other dogs when he’s on the leash. He loves to take walks and explore the neighborhood. Diesel is a great combination of ready to play and ready to snuggle! Diesel just needs a few biscuits and he will adore you forever! Apply today to meet this sweetie! Please visit City Dogs Rescue & City Kitties’ website to apply: www.citydogsrescuedc.org/adopt.html.”

The Latin meaning of Regina is “Queen,” and this Regina has all of the regal qualities of a Queen, without any of the fuss. We are not saying she does not love to be brushed and petted and loved on, but we do know she’s as easygoing and sweet as they come. With her loving nature, she’s a beautiful, calm companion and an all-around great cat. Do you need a Queen for your royal court? If so, apply to adopt Regina now! If you are interested in meeting a cat, we require an adoption application. Please visit City Dogs Rescue & City Kitties’ website to apply: www.citydogsrescuedc.org/adopt-a-city-kitty.html.”

“Parker and Charlie are a bonded pair but are not required to be adopted together. They are very gentle, inquisitive, experts at taking naps and hiding, but mostly they are great with kids and dogs. They can be adopted through the Humane Rescue Alliance.”

Adoptville

Ed. Note: Thanks to Kristen for (re)launching the AdoPtville weekly adoptable animal fix.

Crystal

“Crystal is full of love! She was rescued from the dog meat trade in Thailand. This goofy girl is friendly and aims to please. She is smart and has already learned ;sit, stay, place and heel. She loves to play fetch and enjoys her toys too. She would make a great running companion and also loves to relax at home with her people. This bright girl will do well with someone who has experience as the pack leader. We want to set all our dogs up for success — with Crystal, we can offer a foster-to-adopt trial period with insight from our trainer who has worked extensively with her. We will be there for you every step of the way should you have questions. Crystal is house trained and crate trained. She needs someone to enforce what she’s learned with crate training during a transition. She is not good with cats. Please contact Rural Dog Rescue at [email protected] if you are interested in adopting Crystal.”

Kermit1

“This is Kermit, he’s up for adoption at the Humane Rescue Alliance. We fostered him in Park View and he’s awesome. His profile is here.

UPDATE: He was adopted!”
