In the Nation’s Capital, everybody needs a little Juice! Juice is an 18 month old pit bull terrier mix. He gets along with all people, and dogs his own size. He is not good with cats, small children, or small dogs. He would prefer to be in a home without another dog. Juice is toy and food motivated and considered medium/high energy. He likes to play but settles down when it’s time to chill. He is very loyal — when he finds his human he sticks to them like glue. He’s a phenomenal dog with great house manners. He loves long walks and playing fetch. He likes to be in the same room as his person, and suffers a little bit of separation anxiety, but that eases as he settles in. He is currently being professionally trained by Monument Dog Training and will be crate trained, able to sit, heel, down and place on command. This is a super friendly and eager to please boy! Please only apply if you will continue Juice’s training per his trainers guidance. We like to set our pitbulls up for success and good dog manners and obedience are keys to success! This is a great dog! If you are interested in adopting Juice, please complete an application online at www.ruraldogrescue.com, or email [email protected].

Moochie is a 2 year-old gentle girl searching for a home where she can reign supreme as your extremely devoted one and only. Found by a volunteer as a stray, Moochie has a sweetheart purrsonality and a tender disposition – she really responds to soft voices and gentle scratches! Moochie is an affectionate, people-loving girl and she cannot wait to become a cherished family member. She does not enjoy the company of other cats but she LOVES humans, and simply must find one of her own! Please learn more about Moochie and apply to adopt her here.
