If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share for the regular fix please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. AdoPtville is run by two volunteers who compile these pets weekly from local shelters.

Chickadee is an adorable kitten, who is ready to fly the coop and find her forever home. Chickadee can be a wee bit shy when first meeting new people, but it doesn’t take her long to come around and show everyone just how sweet she can be!
While the other kitties in her foster home can often be found wrestling, Chickadee prefers to hang out with her human or just sit back and observe from the comfort of the cat tree. However if you pull out the red laser light, Chickadee becomes an expert hunter and will scurry around the house chasing after it. She is often fine keeping herself entertained and will gladly chase after her own tail if no one else is up for playing. The thing that Chickadee likes most is to receive lots of love and affection. Her purr box will start going the moment you reach down to pet her and she will nudge you gently with her nose to let you know exactly where she wants the pets. She is more than happy to cuddle up next to you for an afternoon nap or sit right by you while you work on the computer. Chickadee doesn’t need much to be happy other than a little affection. Chickadee is always a perfect house guest, and she uses the litterbox and scratching post correctly. “Sweet Havana will steal your heart! She would make a great family member to any type of family- active or calm. This girl loves people and is good with the dogs and cats that she has met so far. While on a Dogventure at a volunteer’s house, Havana ignored the resident cats like she couldn’t care less about them or kissed noses with them and moved on!
Although Havana isn’t house trained yet, she seems eager to please her people. She knows sit and leave it really well and occasionally does PAW. In addition, she’s good on leash. Havana had no problem sleeping in a crate all night. Playing with toys, engaging in tug-of-war, and receiving belly rubs are some of her favorite things. But she would love nothing more than to join your family! To learn more about this sweetie, email Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation at [email protected].”
