Little Miss Evie is quite the diva! At 10 years young, Evie knows what she wants and how to get it. She loves to be on the highest space of the couch to survey her subjects, and she loves to be petted so much, she’ll make sure you know when she wants affection! Evie is house- and crate-trained, and weighs about 8 lbs. She is fine with other dogs but would also do well as an only dog, and would be better in a home without young children. Evie is a very sweet princess looking for an adoring family of her own. To find out more about adopting this little lady, go here.

Say hello to handsome Teddy, a cat who is a true survivor and a cuddlebug! This 8-year-old orange and white chonk has recently slimmed down from a whopping 22 lbs. to his currently svelte 16! Teddy has not had an easy life, but his friendly and affectionate attitude hasn’t changed. He absolutely loves people, including children, so long as everyone gives him a little time to get comfortable (see above regarding his less-than-ideal past). Teddy loves to be petted and to play with toys and explore; he’ll need to continue a healthy diet and regular exercise to stay healthy. Teddy lives with other cats in his foster home, but would also be fine as an only cat. He’s a gentle and happy guy looking for a second chance at the loving and kind home he deserves. Find out more about adopting Teddy here.

“Alfie, a Jack Russell mix, is ten weeks old and about five pounds. Don’t be fooled by Alfie’s small size, because he brings a ton of energy, activity and love day in and day out. Alfie is the single reason that is making this difficult time enjoyable!”

Megot is a gentleman among kitties. He is a purrball who will do anything for a tummy rub. This big boy is quiet and a little shy, but once he opens up, he will be your new best friend. He spends most of his day sleeping among the blankets on the bed or out following his human around the house. He will always welcome a good tummy rub, but beware if you start, you’ll find yourself rubbing the tummy for much longer than anticipated! What more can we say? His purrs say it all! For more information about Megot, please email [email protected]

Nancy came to Lost Dog Rescue from Albany, Georgia and is now looking for her forever home! She is fairly mellow for a younger dog — happy to hang out, play with chew toys for hours, give lots of kisses and cuddle.

She does get a bit excited when greeting people, so we think she would do best in a home with older kids with some dog experience. Nancy is pretty easy to walk on a leash, has been crate-trained while in foster care and has good house manners. There is a cat in her foster home, but the two have only seen each other briefly in passing.

Nancy had recently had puppies and is nearing the end of her heartworm treatment, so she’s been mostly resting and recuperating during her foster home stay. But it just means that she is a great buddy for staying home and taking it easy. For more information about Nancy, email [email protected].
