Nice! This one even has historical significance.

I kinda feel like Som Records should’ve saved this one for Halloween. Am I the only one who finds this cover terrifying?

The longest I was able to look at this album cover without laughing and/or smiling was six seconds.

I could really use some music to relax to at the moment… How does Som Records always get inside my brain?

Classic.

I don’t really know what to say about this one, except that it is now one of my new top 5 favorites of all time. Tip of the hat to you Som Records, tip of the hat.

Hahaha, I had to look up Jonah Jones on Wikipedia and he’s legit:
“Jonah Jones (born Robert Elliott Jones; December 31, 1909 – April 29, 2000) was a jazz trumpeter who is perhaps best known for creating concise versions of jazz and swing standards that appealed to a mass audience. In jazz he might be best appreciated for his work with Stuff Smith. He was sometimes referred to as “King Louis II.” Started playing alto sax at the age of 12 in the Booker T Washington Community Center band in Louisville before quickly transitioning to trumpet where he excelled immediately.”

Hahaha. That’s all I can really say for this one. Nicely done Som Records. As always.

Banjo and Tuba ensemble should never be overlooked whether it’s 1980 or 2010!!!
