The school drop-off and pick-up line can be a chaotic place, where parents and guardians converge to ensure their children’s safe arrival and departure from school.

Mastering drop-off and pick-up line etiquette not only contributes to a more pleasant experience for everyone involved but also sets a positive example for kids observing these interactions.

While CarCare To Go is helping parents get their vehicles ready for the new school year routine, we’re also helping teachers as well! Enter to win a $500 VISA Gift Card for classroom supplies, and teachers can always save 10% with code THANKYOU10. The team also crowd-sourced some helpful tips below for those tackling the morning school commute for the first time.

Arrive Early, but Not Too Early

Arriving a few minutes before the designated drop-off or pick-up time helps avoid last-minute rushes and ensures you have ample time to complete the process. However, avoid arriving excessively early, as this could disrupt the flow of traffic or cause congestion around the school premises.

Follow the Designated Route

Schools typically have established traffic patterns for drop-off and pick-up lines. It’s crucial to follow these routes to maintain order and prevent traffic jams. Disregarding the designated route can lead to confusion and slow down the process for everyone.

Exciting basketball with some of the world’s best athletes is happening now, right here in D.C.

The WNBA Washington Mystics season is underway and with playoffs right around the corner, we’re leaving it all on the court!

With a roster full of star-studded talent, every game is bound to be an entertaining matchup that will captivate basketball fans and beyond. Hometown hero Shakira Austin is only in her second season and continues to make an impact each on both ends of the court.

Playing alongside Austin is 2x WNBA MVP Elena Delle Donne. In her 11th season, she continues to prove why she’s one of the best players in WNBA history. She is the only WNBA player to join the 50-40-90 club and has been named a 7x WNBA All-Star.

Coming off the news off a multi-year contact extension, Mystics guard Ariel Atkins has countless accolades in her six-year career. Atkins is the first player in WNBA history to make an All-Defensive team in each of her first five seasons and became an Olympic gold medalist representing the U.S. in Women’s Basketball at the 2021 Olympics.

Limited opportunities remain to see these talented players in action as our season nears an end. We invite PoPville readers to check out a game with this special discount ticket offer. Enter code POPVILLE to unlock the offer.

We can’t wait to see you at a game soon!
