You know these stickers you’ve probably seen on cars that usually feature vacation spots like the outerbanks or Veil, or some place in Vermont? MtP’s hitting the big time. At least this sticker was a scooter…

I thought pretty deeply on this one and I all I could think of were those old novelty desk tschotkes that fill with water and bob up and down very slowly. Know what I’m talking about it? I think it was once featured on a Simpson’s episode when Homer becomes obese and uses one to type on a keyboard. You with me?

Thanks to a reader for sending this super cool article she “found by accident on the Library of Congress’ Chronicling Americas project. All about Petworth circa 1907.”

Former Door of the Day recipient had some sweet art drying on their porch the other day. I was/am totally mesmerized by this piece.

Going with the green. I dig the moss type plants up front. Anyone know what they are called?

Ed. note: Bastards pronounced bah-stah-ds for full effect. If anyone has a roof deck on their rowhouse send me some proper photos please.

A cool rowhouse in its own right but then I saw the top floor. If you look closely you can see it is a sunroom of sorts with curtains that can open up. I guess that’s a sort of sunroom pop up. Very cool though. I give it a thumbs up.

There are a whole bunch of old fire boxes that have been decorated by the Art & Media House. A reader told me about this one and then I found two others on my walk around town. I’ll post the others throughout the week. I’m a huge fan. Do you like it? More photos after the jump. (more…)

What do you think of the Beauregard located at 11th and V? Do you like the name? I kind of like how the window stick out on the left hand side of the photo. Thumbs up or down?
